At SugaVida, sustainability is at the heart of our business. India’s majestic Palmyra Palm tree provides for us, so we treat it with respect. We maintain its natural growth cycle, never cut them down, and replant seedling trees to replace those that die naturally. All our ingredients are organically farmed or wild-harvested to enhance sustainability and biodiversity without the industrial chemicals that dominate global food production.

Our Palmyra Blossom Nectar is unrefined, guaranteed 100% pure and never cut with sugar cane or coconut sugar. Positive Impact

Our vision is to make a positive impact. In India, we work directly with three farmer cooperatives, particularly with women, to empower them where they historically come second to men. Our trade is carried out fairly to benefit the lives of our Indian colleagues and their communities. In the West, our vision is to make a positive impact on diabetes and the obesity epidemic with our Palmyra Blossom Nectar, the world’s most delicious and nutritious sugar.

 

Pioneering

Our Founder, Kristina Locke, is one of the UK’s health food pioneers. Her involvement with Ayurveda led to the introduction of our products into the Western market. Initially, we launched our Palmyra Blossom Nectar. We then used it as the sweetening ingredient in our multi-award-winning triple-strength Turmeric Superblends and our Ayurvedic Digestif Mix, a revolutionary digestive aid inspired by traditional Indian seed and herb mixes
