Luxury Hummus

Our take on this luxury hummus is super easy to make, and tastes so much better than shop-bought ever could! We've also added some simple beetroot and red pepper variations to create a winning trio of flavours.

 

INGREDIENTS

 

1 can drained chickpeas

2 tablespoons tahini 

1 garlic clove

Juice of half a lemon 

50ml extra virgin olive oil

½ teaspoon cumin 

1 teaspoon SugaVida Turmeric Superblend

50 ml water – (if mixture is too thick)

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) 

 

METHOD

Blend all ingredients well in a food processor/blender 

 

Beetroot hummus

Add 1 cup cooked chopped beets and blend with the other ingredients

 

Roasted red pepper hummus

Add 1 cup roasted red peppers (or from a jar) and blend with the hummus
